Urine Therapy - Strange Behavior

This strange behavior, called "urine therapy," or "auto-immune therapy," or "intrinsic medicine," or simply "UT," and also known in India as "amaroli" (the practice itself) and "Shivambu" (urine, the "water of Shiva"), has a well-documented, proven record of its power to heal an amazing variety of ills, with no negative or harmful effects. Coen van der Kroon's book "The Golden Fountain" lists around 175 different ailments or diseases of the human body, that have been cured by urine therapy, which includes drinking, massaging with-, and bathing in- urine. (Also used for nose drops, ear drops, eye drops, foot baths, eye cups, douche, enemas, etc).

Urine therapy has historical roots in ancient Egypt, ancient China, ancient India, Europe in the middle-ages, and even in this century, there have been hundreds of medical studies (including doctors who injected it directly into the blood, apparently because the taste was considered too objectionable). In Dr. CP Mithal's book Miracles of Urine Therapy, the author mentions certain doctors in India who believe in urine therapy, but know that their patients won't drink it. So when the patient comes in for a visit, the doctor asks for a urine sample. The doctor takes it into the back room, where it is repackaged as medicine, with taste and smell disguised. Dr. Mithal writes that we should forgive these deceptive doctors, because it's the only way they can get the patients to drink their urine. It is a divine nectar, with supernatural qualities.

Urine contains vitamin B-12, vitamin C, vitamin B-6, and other vitamins, and many minerals. There are approximately 200 known biochemical elements in urine, but researchers believe this is just the tip of the iceberg. Dr. Beatrice Bartnett writes that it is now known that urine contains thousands of bio-chemical compounds, but that only 200 or so have been studied as compounds of interest to medical scientists. Urine contains elements found in the diet, mixed with elements of the blood, and filtered by the liver and kidneys, before flowing out of the body. Most of the toxins in the food we eat (if any) is filtered out of the blood, through the liver and kidneys, while any toxic matter that makes its way into the urine would be highly diluted. The end product, urine, is actually less toxic and more alive than much of the food and drink that goes into the body. The body is even able to digest junk foods and devitalized liquids, and produce from it a valuable, medicinal drink. Urine is medicinal, cleansing, and nourishing. Think how much more valuable and medicinal is the urine from healthy, clean blood, which is fed by pure, natural, organic, raw foods. Drinking your own urine makes you think seriously about what you eat.

Urine Therapy - Diet Is Important

Everything you eat and drink has an effect on your body and consequently on your urine. The healthier your dietary habits are, the better your urine will taste. Urine therapy in itself does not perform miracles. Unless you provide your body with the essential nutrients, it will not possess the raw materials needed to maintain good health. If you eat healthily and consciously, your urine will contain many essential nutrients which can be reused. Even so, the body may have a deficiency of certain nutrients if they are not supplemented by a complete range of foods. In the long run, this may result in illnesses and ailments. The human body is not made to digest and absorb the many harmful additives to which we are now days exposed. Chemical products and radiation added to food products have been proven to be harmful. The recommended range of foods consists of fresh vegetables and fruit, whole grains, seeds, nuts, bean, natural sweeteners such as honey, and a limited use of dairy products.

It is advisable to follow a vegetarian diet during intensive application of urine therapy. This means that it is best for you to refrain from eating all meat and dairy products, or at least reduce this to a mini-mum, especially if you practice the therapy for an extended period of time. This also applies if you are fasting or if you drink several glasses of urine per day. If you continue to eat meat, you probably have a high concentration of nitrogen wastes, uric acids and other acidic substances in your urine, which are not helpful when reinvested in these large amounts. A surplus of these substances in the blood can lead to an abnormally high degree of acidity. The body consequently acidifies, creating a breeding ground for illnesses. The above mentioned substances in high concentrations cause the urine to taste extremely unpleasant. If you wish to keep eating meat, the best meat products are fish and fowl, free of hormones. Avoid foods containing refined flour products, white sugar and white rice. These nutrients also acidify the blood and body. Avoid processed & radiated foods, and foods which contain colorings or flavorings.

Urine Therapy - Build Immunity

The main theory is that it helps build immunity to disease, much like a vaccination. Martha Christy goes into all of this, and partly focuses on its use as a cosmetic, among other things. She recommends starting off with just a few drops, applied topically to the skin. Urine is helpful for acne, eczema, psoriasis, ringworm, sores, fungal infections, insect bites, snake bites, wounds, burns, abrasions, and even gangrene. Urine is also is a rich source of hormones, especially DHEA and melatonin, and other sex hormones including testosterone, androgen, and estrogen. It is also a rich source of enzymes, vitamins and minerals, and the amino acid creatine (used by body-builders, in the form of an extract from beef). Urine is also a source of allantoin (also found in comfrey and aloe vera, known as 'bone-knit,' in comfrey, and useful in aloe for preventing sunburn). Although I have not seen any information on hGH in urine, I suspect urine may also be a source of hGH (human growth hormone).

Urine Therapy - Transmutation Theory

Most of what has been said here will be valid from a strictly mechanistic point of view. The transmutation theory, though, needs a new, holistic paradigm which is based more on the dynamics of energies.

In recent scientific research, a shift is visible from reductionism to holism. It is beyond the scope of this paper to go into this matter. I nevertheless want to take the new paradigm fully into account here in trying to find explanations for the effectiveness of urine therapy. Urine can be considered to contain an exact holographic picture of the body fluids and tissues. The biofeedback of this holographic information by re-ingesting the urine may well inform the energy system in a way which helps restoring a disturbed balance. The medical doctor and urine therapist Abele cautiously discusses the possible effect of urine as holographic feedback: "The question rises as to whether urine could possibly be considered to be a sort of liquid-hologram. Once the body has been made conscious of urine in an unconventional way (such as it being reintroduced into the body by intramuscular injection) the whole organism evaluates it and subsequently updates its own regulating mechanisms (at least in specific cases)."

The theory of transmutation implies that the body is capable, through energetic exchange within the body itself, to transmute certain substances or molecules into other ones. 'Short-circuiting' the system by ingesting one's own secreted body fluids might stimulate the transmutational forces within and challenge the body to transform unusable substances into usable ones without being constantly disturbed by new external input. It could possibly go as deep as to restructure disturbed DNA. This would specifically apply to fasting on urine.

An important aspect here is the theory of structured water. The body consists for the biggest part of water and so does urine. Not all water is the same though. The molecular structure of water can be less or more organized and in the latter case one speaks of structured water. The more it is organized, the better all kind of enzymatic processes can do their job. These enzymatic processes, in their turn, are responsible and necessary for the digestion, absorption and transmutation of all nutrients.

It is scientifically proven how water in biological systems becomes more organized. Water also becomes more organized through exposure to sunlight and through close contact with crystals. The body is both a receptor of sunlight and it contains a high amount of solid and liquid cristallinelike substances. Also body fluids themselves form fluid crystals.

Urine is thus a cristallinelike substance containing a high amount of structured water. This structured water, when taken in again, promotes better enzymatic functioning and it has a higher solubility for minerals. A higher amount of structured water in the body system is correlated with better health and more energy.

The fact that urine is a liquid crystal substance, particularly because of the various salts in it, implies that it contains crystalline vibrations completely in tune with the vibrational condition of the body. Re-ingestion might give the body valuable vibrational information needed for two things. Healthy vibrations will strengthen the already existing, healthy body resonance. 'Diseased' or stress-vibrations will counteract any unhealthy resonance in the body. It is known that disturbing sounds of any sort can be counteracted best by confronting it with the same sounds. The vibratory patterns of the body, both in the bones (solid crystals) and in the tissues and fluids (liquid crystals), play an important role in the process of transmutation. The resonance field of a crystal can make a protein, for example, change its form into one that is more useful for the body, or easier adaptable by it.

Seeing urine as a liquid crystalline like substance containing a high amount of structured water may help understanding its healing qualities on the more subtle levels. This is just one little step in trying to explain the energetical effect of urine therapy on the human organism. This way of thinking should be considered as a kind of scientific, modern 'alchemy'.

There is nothing wrong or scary about this terminology and the way of thinking that goes with it. It is nothing new and at the same time highly modern. It provides a chance to scientifically explain urine therapy in its fullest potential, while at the same time taking into account its rich, spiritually associated, history.

Urine therapy confronts us with a very concrete 'healer within' which works both on a mechanistic and on an energetic level. The latter implies that urine, as a holographic substance, can affect all levels of being, from the physical, through the electromagnetical fields of the emotions and the mind, up to the subtler genetic vibrational information of the soul.

Urine Therapy - Golden Fountain: The Complete Guide to Urine Therapy

Urine therapy is an ancient Eastern tradition that has recently gained popularity in the West as a natural alternative to modern drugs and surgery. Using the body’s own natural antibodies, it can be used internally to relieve symptoms of tuberculosis, tumors, parasites, anemia, common colds, and allergies. It can also aid in external ailments including rashes, acne, boils, burns, and dry skin. This book provides an introduction to the principles of urine therapy, the history of its use, recent research and literature, various medical uses, and personal stories from people who have been cured by urine therapy. Included is a complete bibliography for those interested in expanding their knowledge of urine therapy through other sources.
Firstly - it works. I don't believe this to be a placebo effect, as I've tried many other remedies for various ills, and none have delivered the amazing results that urine therapy has in just three months. My previously constant urinary tract irritation has disappeared at last, and my body feels much stronger. Recently I took an overseas trip where I was surrounded by people with the flu - starting with all the air hostesses on the way out and culminating with most of my family upon my return. I didn't catch it, which for me is quite amazing, especially considering the stress I was under.

I find it perplexing that some reviewers and 'medical experts' are so dismissive of this therapy - claiming that there is no scientific evidence to prove that it works. This seems to fly in the face of the fact that urine derivatives are used in a host of medicines that are prescribed by 'medical experts', and bought over the pharmaceutical counter by countless 'normal' people who would never entertain the idea of ingesting their own urine. However, horse urine or urine from other people (or derivatives thereof) are deemed (perhaps unknowingly) as perfectly acceptable.

My advice to all of you out there who are suffering from chronic ailments that are unresponsive to orthodox therapy is - go and buy this book, read it, and give the therapy a go. After all - what do you have to lose? Even the most rabid 'expert' detractors will admit that it does no harm.

Urine Therapy - Curing Warts

When someone asks “Can urine cure warts?” We are likely to say "Yuck", how could it? Well, this sort of reaction is only expected especially as we associate urine as a by-product of the body. However, there is sense to the question.

When searching for answers to the question of “Can urine cure warts?” there were so many testimonials to the affectivity, but there was simply no scientific explanation to it. Until memory struck that somewhere in high school, a teacher said that urine was actually urea and that triggered the narrowing down of the search. “Can Urea cure warts?” and this is the result:

Scientifically, strong aqueous solutions of urea or carbamide contain great amounts of anti-viral properties which is the main reason why common warts or verruca vulgaris can be successfully treated by urea. Urine is a mild form of urea so this is where the real discussion starts.
The virus which causes the wart growth on the skin can be transmitted on skin contact of an infected person to another who has cuts or breaks on the skin. The virus enters the skin layers and lays nest in it causing a cauliflower-like growth which can occur anywhere on the body.

The urea treatment or urine treatment is very good against the warts and can effectively kill off the virus. What’s more, the acid found in urine or uric acid, is also very effective against cancer-causing free radicals. The best thing about urine, even if many consider this a body waste, is that it is non-toxic so even if the person were to pee on the wart, they would not develop any toxic side-effects, unlike salicylic acid.

Just a point of fact to support urine therapy: urea in urine is one of the most potent anti-viral agents and can kill off the polio virus and the rabies virus quickly and efficiently. So what’s a little wart?
